Growing up in India, summer meant packing our bags and driving off to another new hill station to explore. Sometimes it was just the four of us (my parents, my brother and i) and other times, we would land up being a big group of 5-6 families. I knew I had caught the travel bug as I looked forward to every vacation we took and boy, did we take vacations. Whether it was by car, train or a flight, we made sure we made the most of the place. If it was Bangkok, the local food was relished like it was our staple or if it was Ramgarh, the hikes & plucking fruits from trees seemed like we have been doing it since forever. My travels continued when I moved away to do my undergrad and became as frequent as before when I moved back home for work.
I now live in San Francisco with my husband, my best friend and soulmate who shares my enthusiasm and eagerness to explore and discover new places. It’s been a year since our wedding and we have already tackled quite a few places in USA. From Boston, Seattle, Chicago to Los Angeles, Santa Cruz and our most recent long weekend, Fort Bragg. It was during this trip that i recognized the importance of documenting our travels for not only ourselves but for other couples who share our zest to globe-trot.
